Ghandruk is an ideal vantage point in this pristine village and offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli.
Ghandrung, pronounced“ Ghandruk” by residents, is one of the second largest Gurung villages in Nepal, where the first one is “Sikesh” and Ghandruk is typical in many respects. Further to the south of modern Ghandruk there is a beautiful traditional Gurung village (Gairi Goun) with orderly rows of neat slate-roofed houses clustered on the canyon wall amid a complicated network of terraces where wheat and barley are grown. I take my clients to this typical village to observe the lifestyle of local people.also facing the beautiful mountains south of Annapurna, Hiun Chuli, Fishtails & much more.
